I don't have SLI so I'm not sure, but I think this can be done already. iCX allows you to set-up per fan one profile and so will iCX2. Keep in mind however other non-EVGA software won't be able to control more than one fan. Cool GTX

Don't count on it not supporting older generation cards. Precision XOC still also supports Fermi videocards for example, and so did PrecisionX16. (but honestly PrecisionX was a better more stable choice) The new Geforce series coming up is also the reason we haven't seen XOC updates anymore for a while. But I honestly expect the program to have some bug fixes compared to PrecisionXOC and just incorperated extra functionality for iCX2 and the new Geforce cards. But other than that... most likely just a re-skin of PrecisionXOC. Even today if you open PrecisionX_x64.exe you'll still find leftovers like dialog boxes and setting menu's from the PrecisionX program. (which released before X16) bcavnaugh
Odd that they are calling this Precision X1 and not Precision X20
I'm actually surprised they didn't call it PrecisionXC because of the new videocards getting XC names. But ah well, there are more software makers out there that use inconsistent names like Microsoft with Windows and EA/DICE with Battlefield. But with a name as PrecisionX1 I actually expected that they would incorperate more software into one big unit, like Flow Control and PrecisionXOC combined. (X1 X-One)

It would be great to launch one piece of software like CAM or iCUE and control everything. Before you go down the "but CAM and iCUE" suck train, EVGA's software has been far from adequate for a long time, and when comparing them all like I have, EVGA is dead last on the software side by a mile, both in function and quality.

My money is on CriticalHit_NL's explanation. This will likely be nothing more than a buggy re-skin of a buggy program. I hope that EVGA proves this theory wrong, but don't count on it. All new codebase? I find that very very hard to believe based on EVGA's long track record of fail with this software.

Currently, GTX cards are not supported for the current beta release. For the 10 series cards, you can still use Precision XOC until support for GTX cards is available with PX1. -Jacob B.
