z999z3mystorysIf your card was incorrectly flashed with the wrong firmware, will this version flash it back to the correct one?
MackWagez999z3mystorysIf your card was incorrectly flashed with the wrong firmware, will this version flash it back to the correct one?I don't believe so. I installed this version and it did not prompt to do a firmware update on my affected card.
z999z3mystorys Hmm OK, I did get a firmware update from 1.1.5, but it hasn't caused any problems as far as I can tell. I'll let you know if 1.1.6 flashes anything.

MackWageAnother finding for awareness. 1.1.5 also updated the firmware on my 3090 FTW3 Ultra the 3090 FTW3 bios (non-ultra). I am finding the easiest way to tell whether or not you are affected is to simply open PX1 and look toward the top where it lists your graphics card. I am guessing it pulls this information from the vbios so if the label there does NOT match your actual physical card, bad news bears.
the_Scarlet_onePrecision X1 does not update the bios on the card. Precision only updates the firmware, which is completely separate from the bios.Users have to manually update the bios through the files that EVGA provided in the 30 series forum.

I would however clarify there is certainly a correlation between the firmware update and installed bios.So while firmware and bios are independent, my guess is that when it flashes the firmware, it also installs or reinstalls the bios so there is a correlation.
