Using older version of Precision
4.2.1 I think
Don't like the newer version
This one works great
Except when starting computer I get a very large Icon
Filling 3/4 of my screen.
Have to reboot several times before the icon gets smaller
Taking up 1/5 of my screen
Never seen anything like this
How can an icon get big then small?

Do you mean by 'icon' that the 'precision window' is sometimes bigger than normal?
If so I wouldn't know what causes it, mine has always been in a consistent size, but I never used scaling in windows.
 
Maybe someone else has an idea, I'm sorry.

I agree, the only thing I have at startup is my Death Adder mouse and Precision.
Tried Windows 10 for a while, but went back to Win 7 64bit Ultimate, less stuff running in background.
Too many programs and software put themselves in automatic start-up
Did they ask me if that's what I want... Rarely!
Reading forums about new Precision, seems like a lot of problems.
4.2.1 works perfectly except for the large/small icons, which didn't cause problems anyway.
Of course it is acting normal now, will post image of large icon when it happens again.
Have done a no startup of Precision, same thing occurs.
My computer is a little mental I think.
