Greetings,
Sorry for the noob question, could not find any info online.

My Evga 1080ti has a 6pin+8pin connector, I changed Power link to a 6+8 connector and installed it to my GPU, but I noticed where my power cables get connected to the power link there are 8+8 pin connectors that you can not change.

Do I connect a 6+8 or 8+8, to the bottom of the power link.

Sorry for confusion, I just do not want to destroy my GPU.

Thank you

Do you have some Power supply come with cables that come out 6 or 8pin
so my two Powerlink for my two 1080 Classified so they both 8+8.
I have with EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G2 that cables can use either 6 or 8pin!!! Do you have cables that come out 6 pin or 8 pins

Can you tell us what Power PSU do you have?

EDIT> If you have both 8 pin on your cables? You can use both 8 pin plug to Powelink and Normal 6 + 8 pin from Powelink to your Graphic Card!!! It no problem because Powerlink do have solid state capacitors give you power filtering !!

    PSU Corsair 1200xi
    GPU EVGA 1080ti hydro copper

Power link gives you the option to change connectors to GPU, but not connectors from PSU.  Power link connector to GPU is a 6+8, but for PSU should I go 6+8 same as GPU?
Only reason why I am asking, is because on the Power Link Connectors from the PSU is 8+8

On my cables from PSU I have option 6+8 or 8+8. Wanted to ask before I connected.

    Thanks for reply Coolmistry

    No worry!!
I have look on my powelink so you cannot change from 8 to 6 pin input powerlink from power supply because they both 8 pins fix and output you can change 6 pins from 8 that 6+8 pins to your graphic card! You can use both 8 pins from power supply to powerlink and then 6+8 to your card!!!
