P/N: 100-NK-3000-B9, EVGA PerFE 12 Cable. The box says good for 3090Ti with 1000W PSU.

The 3090Ti comes with a 12 cable adapter, but that has 3 x 8-pin GPU plugs, whereas the PerFE 12 cable only has 2 x 8-pin GPU plugs. Is that PerFE cable going to cause issues with only 2 x 8-pin plugs, particularly if I'm overclocking?

Also the 1000W mentioned, is that up to 1000W, or minimum 1000W?

The cable itself can be used with 650w psu’s and up. EVGA is recommending a 1000w psu to be used with the cable. I like using the adapter the 3090 ti ftw3 came with as it allows three 8-pins to be connected to the card versus only two. I’ve pulled around 550 to 580w from the gpu alone for hours on end without the adapter bursting into flames.

Yes, those last 6 words is why I'm concerned about 2 x 8-pin instead of 3 x 8-pin.   ..although I guess eventually it's just going to be a single 12-pin cable once EVGA release some new PSUs with 12-pin connectors.

I have an EVGA 1000 T2 PSU at present.
