Dear Gents,

I need your support if someone can help me regarding my issue for my EVGA PSU 750 watts.
During my installation of my RIG, i put the PCIE Cable to CPU slot of the PSU.
When I turn on the RIG, the EVGA PSU did not power up as well as the GPU cards and the PCIE risers connected to it.

Can you confirm if this EVGA PSU will be ok or damage already?

Please appreciate your feedback.

Almost certainly the CPU or some motherboard VREG is fried now, but maybe not if you're really lucky..The +/- polarity of those two connectors are opposite..The PSU may have 'latched off' as it's designed to do in the event of a short and will not reset unless it's switched off or unplugged from the wall.

See How do I test my power supply? for more information..Use the PSU Tester if your PSU came with one, or the Jumper Test, to see if it turns on the unit.
