Can confirm the new driver update does NOT fix it.

Thanks.  What do you have your sample rate/bit-depth set to when you put your system to sleep?

I typically have it set to 32bit/192k. In my prior testing, I discovered the problem exists at each setting until you lower it to 32bit/96k. At that lower setting, I stopped having issues.

Our Audio team tested and had no issues at 32/192.  They recommended to close the program, delete all temporary App Data folders for the NU Audio Card, here (you might have more than one):

Go ahead and open the program at that point, then try to put it to sleep and see if the issue persists.

Hello,

I can also confirm the new driver update does not fix this as well. Also I found that most of the time, unless I remove the headphone jack and reboot the sound card cannot fully drive a 250ohm headphone.

So 2 issues-

-The going to sleep with Youtube open crashes the driver. This does not happen if I close the tab out, thats the work around.

-Yet, I do bealive that after putting the computer asleep the amp does not fully power and drive anything above 100 or so Ohm's my 250 Ohm headphone are not as loud as my 40ohm headphones. They are night and day. My 250ohm headphones are better quilty and louder then my 40ohm headphones.

Thanks
John

inkey, since installing the drivers, did you delete the folder(s) from the temp location in App Data as I showed above?

What's the status with this? I just purchased a card a month ago. I'm on the latest driver / firmware and I have this problem, no sound when waking from sleep.

I've also started having this same or a similar problem.  Nothing seems to fix it except a reboot.  No sound, and no program suggests it's outputting sound, either.  Not to my headphones or my speakers (both plugged into my Nu Audio card).

Hi,

I have similiar problems, after sleep mode the EVGA nu audio card will not work (meaning I've got no sound in headphones/soundspeakers (via SPIF). Furthermore even after i reset the computer it will not work (soft reset and hard reset). I have to go to Control Panel Soundsettings and click resolve the problem (translated I use different language version of Windows than EN), click twice that I'am not hearing sound and then restart the computer. My sample rate is set on 24 bit, 48000. I've tried deleting temp folder as specified in this topic but to no effect.
The problem is persistent and annoying for 'premium' product.

I use Windows 10, newest software drivers  0.2.1.7 with Nahimic. Other audio sources are disabled in hardware settings.

My computer is:
AMD 2600x
ROG STRIX B350-F GAMING (newest BIOS)
EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW2 GAMING
EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G3
EVGA Nu Audio
G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4, 2x8GB, 3200MHz, CL16 (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR)

Hope you can resolve the problem.

This topic has been open almost a year with no resolution. Currently released driver still experiences the issue, but now I get the error "Audio renderer error. Please restart your computer" on youtube when trying to play a video, which adds insult to injury.

Similar problem.  PC is set to never go to sleep or hibernation modes, but after several hours of inactivity, the sound card becomes unresponsive.  I have to reboot the or go into the Nu Audio Pro setup and click on the speaker icon under Playback to "activate" the card.  BIOS and all drivers are up to date.  All Windows power-saving options, including the PCI-E Link State Power Management, are set to NEVER or OFF.  Internal audio is disabled.  Tech support suggests disabling C state in BIOS, which I'm reluctant to do, or use a different slot (not available).  Very disappointing for "high end" sound card.

These issues sound very similar to the issues I'm also experiencing but mine seem to be to a greater degree of frustration.

Since there is no update to these issues in over a year of product it seems I just need to send the card back to Amazon and buy a Creative card.
