4 days ago it was working fine, but now all of a sudden it doesnt seem to be getting detected. things ive tried so far

the cable used (psu to 4x sata) is also connected to some SSD's, hence i know its working and the RGB lights on the nu audio come on
tried different slots on motherboard
reseated the card
checked to see if cable is properly connected
reinstalled drivers

still not getting detected, gone into device manager and it said the hardware isn't connected. not sure what steps to try anymore

I remember somebody posting about that recently and If I remember correctly it was Windows Update KB4515384 causing a problem..Uninstall that update if you have it and see how it rolls..Or use System Restore to go back to a point where it was working.

See if KB4517211 is installed..Try uninstalling that one..If no joy, use System Restore to go back to when you know it was working..Pretty sure a Windows Update broke it..That's about all I can tell you.

i dont know how to check that with my motherboard dont see an option, however i used speccy and its saying the slot where i put my sound card is actually in use. Does the sound card use x1 lanes or x4 lanes?
