EVGA Hybrid Kit - cut off fan cable, void warranty?

Hey guys,
 
i think about getting a Hybrid Kit for my 2080 Ti FTW3 Ultra. I do not need the fan cable on the pump. I control the radiator fan with my mainboard or commander pro.
 
Can i cut off the fan cable or should i just hide it under the shroud ? Does cutting of the cable void my Hybrid Kit's warranty?

    Cutting the cable off the hybrid kit would void the warranty on the kit itself.
