I do think the wait for these cards are going to be in the ballpark of 6-9 months.  If you get lucky you might get it earlier, but at this point that is what I think.  It will be interesting to see how the Hydro Copper version when it is released will affect the number of cards available for both skus.  
 
On a side note, I am making good use of the wait time to work on my Aida 64 sensor panel.  I know people are going to say that you can download sensor screens and be done with it, but the screen I bought for my upgrade is massive and I looked through 70 plus pages of posts and shares and no one has the size of the screen I'm going to be using.  As far as I saw on the Aida 64 forums, my screen may be one of if not the largest.  I spend a couple of hours last night modding one of the shared sensor backgrounds to fit my needs and now will be working on the sensors and info to complete my sensor panel.  
 
Finding something to take up your time while you wait would be a good thing.  I know why Enewt does the list now as it keeps him busy when he actually does have down time after his work and family.  He and the others who maintain the lists can't get enough EVGA bucks for what they do.

With the introduction of the HC KingPin into the queue (maybe mid month), it will definitely affect the number drops of the current KingPin.  I think that the slow down of drops this pass month was because of the HC KingPin.
 

See you in July. Lol and people are like “wait for the 4xxx series next year.” Yeah. Because they’re totally manufacturing tons of 4xxx products during a silicon shortage that just delayed a ton of Apple products like their new iPad until 2023.

I think the que for the Hydro should start at the end of wherever the current list is on release day.
many of us are in the que for the chip. the fact that evga decides to make a chip with a different cooling scheme {AND.....}
if they push the list for the hydro ahead of the current list would not be fair / whatever the cooling scheme i would take the chip with whatever
i wouldn't hesitate to go with a different scheme in my build {loop} if i could get the chip tomorrow
i would be pissed if i was 100 and moved back to an equivalent of 150 cause of the new dress on the chip
