hartmanjasonmAfter updating to the beta bios, I consistently have long boot times due to a "VGA error" on my x570 GodLike. In PX1, it randomly has issues displaying temps as well. Anyone else experiencing this?
rrvaliente43I have a 3080 FTW3 Ultra/3900x/750w Seasonic Platinum Is it safe to update to 450w Bios and max out power limit and core voltage with a 750w power supply? Or should I upgrade my PSU?? Thanks
killyoudeadOh it is a 450W BIOS? I thought it was 500W?

Cringo23Hey @all, is there a download link for the Default BIOS of the FTW3 Ultra like in the other (3090) thread? Would be nice Thanks
Zgapzy"Dear Customer, Thank you for reaching out EVGA support team. Please use the Precision X1 to manual adjust the power to the maximun on TARGET, followed by screenshot the Percision, and send to us.Regarding to your description, the 500W BIOS on the forum is the maximun Watts. However, according to EVGA forum, "EVGA does not guarantee any performance increase or overclock while using this BIOS update." The performance is already reached to our promised performance, it is related to the quality of the card itself if it could reach to the maximun 500W.Thank you for your understanding.Regards, EVGA"EVGA pretty much just told me the quality of their cards are ****. Max 430w on the 500w Bios on Port Royal. So much for this amazing EVGA customer service i heard about can't wait to have this crap out of my PC.

Imagine complaining that a 3080 doesn't pull 500W using a BIOS with a max power of 450W
bford2424Yeah the ftw3090 has been disappointing given it’s price point. Doesn’t compare to the Strix. I feel like I’ve been ripped off
bford2424It’s just funny too me that other AIB’s can take better advantage of this cards BIO’s

Or should I upgrade my PSU?? ThanksHaven't had any problems yet. I have an i7 10700k and ftw3 ultra 3080. Can do about 160 mhz oc for 3dmark, but for real world gaming 145 or 130 are about as table as I can get it on the 450w bios with voltage and power limit maxed.
streamrollerLot of misinformed people here. If u want your 3090 to draw close to TDP ( 500W) make voltage 1.100mV and +1000 memory. Also you may lost silicon lottery aswell. No need to cry. My 400W bios 3080 FTW peaking 407W and scored 12.6K on port royal for example
