hey all,
 
I Purchased my 3080 a few months ago. since having it I have found that when i exit games like Cyberpunk, Starwars battlefront 2 and similar after playing them for awhile my computer will give me a BSOD and restart. I Back dated the drivers and used DDU to do a clean install and would still get the same issue. I have an older GTX 1080 that i can Swap out and it works fine. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas what might be causing this?

    Sounds like switching from high power mode (in game) to low power mode (on desktop) when exiting the game is the problem, so the card has a problem with its power management system most likely. Go into the nvidia control panel, select manage 3d settings, under the global tab set power management to prefer maximum performance. Reboot pc. Retest for the issue to see if the problem is fixed.
