Products won't be added to the Step-Up program until they have been released.

Okay thanks I'm obviously playing catch-up around here. When is the actual release date then, assuming there is one? Or is it just when they are made available to EVGA?

i tried pre order and i cant cos i'm not in the country list. so i have ordered the 2070 gaming black edition via amazon. it says the item is temporarily out of stock. i assume that EVGA still not send the items to amazon as the items are in pre order state. if possible someone please let me know when the item will be available to order (not pre order) via evga or amazon.

Oh I see it's about 2-3 weeks okay thanks guys. Now all I need to decide is if it'll be worth upgrading from my 1070 TI FTW Ultra Silent Gaming which I'm very happy with. The new lighting in games looks amazing though.....

when the step up program starts for the RTX 2070, will you accept an EVGA GTX 750ti as credit? I'm interested in upgrading from 750ti to EVGA RTX 2070 XC or XC Ultra. Also what is the temperature difference at load between the XC version vs the XC Ultra version?

Yeah it's unlikely World of Warcraft would make use of ray tracing features or the DLSS anti aliasing. I mean we might see the DLSS since I could see that being way better in a raid then traditional.

Jeff could you give me insight as to what the step up 'XC' edition of the 2070 Black Edition offers over the base Black Edition?

Yes, i'm also interested in RTX 2070, all are out of stock. When the new batch of 2070's arrives to eu.evga.com? I'm looking forward to buy the basic Black Gaming edition.

I wouldn't do it. You would gain basically nothing. Between the two, it's a wash when it comes to performance. It would basically be like buying a new GTX 1080 and placing your old one in the trash bin, even though there is nothing wrong with it. And when it comes to features, the RTX line has a theoretical advantage, but the features advertised aren't available, and even when they are finally available, will probably not be widely supported. So, again, based on performance and features, buying a RTX 2070 is the same as buying a GTX 1080, at this point, except the GTX 1080 at least has SLI support. If I were you, I would hold off the purchase decision for 6 months, and then look again. If in 6 months, the games you play support the RTX features, then consider. If not, don't buy it.

right now im running a r9 290x tri-x oc . In terms of Performance its still doing "ok", although noise levels and TDP are kinda getting bothersome. Im looking for a good upgrade, at first i thought about getting a used 1080ti, then again the used market in germany is so god damn terrible that even the basic EVGA 1080ti's are going for 680+ €/$ , considering at most id have 1 year warranty its not really worth the risk... so im looking for either a 1080 ti sales on blackfriday / cybermonday / christmas OR a 1080 / 2070. I really cant make up my mind to be honest as people always recommend something different

The RTX 2070 primarily competes with the GTX 1080, not so much the GTX 1080 Ti. If you are trying to decide betwen a RTX 2070 and a GTX 1080 Ti, you really should check out the GTX 1080 since it is a closer competitor to the RTX 2070 and is considerably cheaper than a GTX 1080 Ti. I bought my GTX 1080, straight from EVGA, more than a year ago for $450. https://www.evga.com/prod...roductlist.aspx?type=8
