Hello.

Im buying a EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti K|NGP|N Hydro Copper GAMING, can I use the stepup program within the 90 days, if there is comeing a new serie out?

    Yes, this question has been answered hundred of times. You can use the program, but you will not be getting another kingp N or anything. It will be the absolute most basic version available according to Evga listings.

    That could be the founders edition or just basic evga version that mirrors the founders with a different cooler on it. It will not be any special edition.

    Any extra money spent on the hydro copper will not be recovered, so if you spend $1249 and the new card is $650, you lose everything above $650. That’s not exactly a wise investment.

    Well they sell it with the copper on, for 1349 Euro and 1100 without.
     
    But this is not like a investment, just cause I need it for OC, but at the same price I could get Titan Xp.

    You could get aTXp, but there won’t be a step up choice.

    It would be far smarter to grab a card to hold you over until the next gen is released, and look at the cards that are around $650 or 650€. Then the upgrade may cost a few dollars without losing hundreds just to get the next gen.

    Any card can OC. If you are looking to waste money then upgrade while losing 50% just for the upgrade, go for it.
