I have an i7 2600k @ 4.4GHz, 16gb (4x4) 533MHz
EVGA GTX 970 SC ACX SLI @ 1,165 / 1,735
So here are my results..
3dMark Fire Strike:
11,703 (344.16 drivers went up to 11,802)
Graphics Score - 14,027
Physics Score - 10,948
Combined Score - 5,472
3dMark Cloud Gate
16,150 (with 344.16 drivers)
Graphics score - 22,792
Physics Score - 7,996
What's funny is my ASUS GTX 780 DCU2 OC non SLI destroyed my 970 SLI scores..
780 Run - Cloud Gate
25,630
Graphics score - 66,866
Physics score - 8,115
I was expecting a higher score I guess?
I'm using this set up to game at 4k on the Asus PB287Q using Display Port 1.2 @ 60Hz
The benchmarks I ran last night (off the top of my head, I don't have the numbers in front of me)
Assume for these they're all at 3840x2160 with Ultra everything and AA turned on
Grid Autosport - MSAA 4x -- 68fps
Batman: Arkham Origins - MSAA 4x -- 65fps (closer to 75 with no AA)
Witcher 2 -- 62fps
Battlefield 4 - Single Player -- Fluctuated between 45 and 60fps
Dirt 3 --94
Metro: Last Light - Heavy Mission -- 45fps
Using Precision X, I keep the fan speeds as low as possible until 85C, at which point I have them spin up to 80% speed. During all of these tests I never once heard the fans spool up, and I was sitting in the mid 60's and 70's.
So basically what I'm getting at is my numbers seem to be very in line with what two of these cards can do in games, it just feels like my 3dmark scores are lower than I thought they should be.
Oh well. I'd rather have better performing games than a better performing 3dmark I guess.. heh.
When I get home tonight I can run some more benchmarks if people are interested.
(to sum up, 970 SLI outperformed my OC 780 by a considerable margin in games.. just not in 3dMark)
