Hey,

I have a pair of "vanilla" GTX 570s (012-P3-1570-AR) I purchased on release day, direct from EVGA, Dec 6, 2010. They have a lifetime warranty. I've been using them in SLI ever since and they have sequential serial numbers (neat).

Anyways, still using the same set-up (EVGA Classified E760 motherboard and Corsair Dominator GT). One of the cards is failing and I had to finally remove it from my system. Whenever it's installed, I get constant NVIDIA driver crashes and blue screens. I've tried TONS of things and its 100% one of the cards.

What will EVGA do if I need to warranty that card? Obviously, the other card will be worthless to me if I don't get the same card back so I can SLI the pair.

I paid $699.98 for the pair of cards in 2010 plus $40 for backplates when they came out in early 2011.

Thanks, Shawn

They will help you out in the best way they can. Make sure you select and repeatedly mention that you have an SLI setup. This seems to be the most overlooked thing during warranty claims. If evga does not have a replacement for your 570 that directly matches, they will more than likely give you an upgrade to both cards. Coming from a 570, I do not know what they will send back, but no matter what they choose, it will be far more efficient and far more advanced than a card from 2010, and 1 card will far exceed what your 570 could do, with far less power draw.
