Hi Everyone,

Once again, I'd like to remind you that we greatly appreciate the EVGA F@H Community's efforts and dedication to help support research to eliminate disease and illness.

Similar to last year, Year 13 will result in a point increase.  Although fewer people claimed rewards over the last year, a surprising number of people consistently made both tiers. We are keeping the same amount of EVGA Bucks for each tier, but the result is a point increase for this year.  Yes, this will make it more difficult to reach the tiers, but we also have to account for a potential new GPU launch later this year.  No, we have no secret or private information, so don't ask.

Tier 1 : 10m (10,000,000) (5 EVGA Bucks)
Tier 2 : 30m (30,000,000) (5 EVGA Bucks)

These totals will remain for the entire year.

Please note that the submission page will still show Year 12 until 3/1/20, although we might switch it over on 2/28/20.

Thank You,
Lee

** Please don't forget to submit any points for Year 12 on or before March 15th, 2020 as we will cut off submissions on the following day. **
*** Also, keep in mind that we've recently added -RX as products eligible for Associates Code discounts ***

Thank you, EVGA, for continuing the Folding@EVGA program. Definitely a socially-responsible company supporting medical research and its customer base. Fold on!

Thank you for continuing to support the folding team
This is not too big of an increase considering the possible new GPU launch and core22 points.

I'll echo the above sentiment and ask, do EVGA bucks hold over from year to year or do they expire after a certain time?

EVGA bucks do roll over each year and you can save up as many as you want and earn them by folding, referrals and blue ribbon posts.

Use an Associates Code & SAVE 5% - 10% on your purchase. Just click on the associates banner to save, or enter the associates code at checkout on your next purchase. If you choose to use my code I want to personally say "Thank You" for using it.

For folding, you must claim the whole years bucks before the deadline. Once claimed, they don’t expire.

Thanks to EVGA for continuing to promote Folding@Home - its much appreciated by the community.

This is an interesting increase to the requirements for me.  On the one hand I support the increase as it gets a lot of the bucks folders to fold more and F@H has always been about a lot of people doing their small part.  On the other hand it continues the recent trend to climb above the historic norm (going back 10 years or so not the ridiculous low targets from a couple years back) for required hardware to meet the targets and also puts my available hardware on the threshold of being unable to meet the 30M point goal unless everything goes perfectly right each month (WU selection, no downtime from F@H server errors, no mishaps on my part, etc).  I've always been a low budget folder that started out with a bit of old used hardware and an upgrade is not in the cards (pun intended?) at the moment.  Regardless if I can hit the targets, I plan to keep folding everything I've got through October to at least make it to 10 years of folding at which point I may have to reevaluate.

I don't disagree Troy. Seems really tough to hit that 10 bucks limit if WUs fail to download (for most people) because of server issues.

I thought they'd step the top tier to 25 million.

I started doing the EVGA Bucks folding and glad to see it's sticking around another year.  With my 2060 KO it will be close to being able to get the 30million level each month so I'll probably have to throw a few days of my fiance's 1660 Super at it, but here's to hoping we see a lot more Core 22 WU this year!  Good luck to all!!

Here's hoping the 3000 series comes out soon, my 970 just isn't cutting it anymore, but I wasn't excited about the value/perf ratio of the 2000 series.

Hard to believe that as of May, I'll have been folding for you all for a decade straight, and for the program as a whole for 17 years.

Glad to see the continued corporate support, even if I do understand the grumbling at the numbers increase.

Either direction, I'm here until you all tell me to take off.

I haven't seen this posted anywhere but I don't see a button or points from last year to claim previous months anymore. Is this a bug or it's being ironed out?

Derp! Thank you lol. Those bottom links just blended right in for me.

Oddly when I click the "request for 02/2020" it just sends me to year 13 page and doesn't show that I requested.

I just came here to report the same bug.  Attempting to request points for the month of february redirects to the home page of year 13.  Going back to year 12, the button is still there to request points.  Clicking it never updates the status, and the typical email you get about "thanks for requesting points" never comes.

Another glitch to report: there's no Year 13 points request via the Europe site. I have to go back to the US site before it will show my Year 13 contributions and request buttons.
Accessing via the Europe site just shows my Year 12 contributions, as nice as that is.
