So I just did replaced a bunch of parts in my rig including Adding a Closed Loop 280 Cooler. Ive installed Flow Control but the CPU Temp spot is blank?

Also the Fan Speed is also blank.

Its for a Ryzen 5 1600x CPU, anyone have any idea what Im doing wrong here?

Did you plug the CLC's USB 2.0 plug into a USB 2.0 header on your motherboard?

    1. Lets confirm Windows has the pump driver loaded. Open Device Manager, look under Universal Serial Bus Controllers, you should see a CCVI - this is the pump. Make sure its there and has no errors.

    2. Make sure that whichever header you have the pump plugged into is set to PWM mode not DC - make sure the fan speed is set to 100% (this will give the pump and fans the required power to operate)

What is your motherboard and which fan header is the pump plugged into?

So something weird just happened. I was running a torture test on my CPU and it got up to 78C. Then Randomly the Fan Speed showed up in the program and it pushed it down to like 63C, but not its starting to climb again. Still no CPU temp on it though.

It was on F_USB1 but now its on F_USB2.
The Fan cord is in CPU_OPT right now but have also tried it in CPU_FAN

I will check those settings in a bit and report back

Device Manager says its connected and working properly

With the fan settings, putting the fan at Full Speed will bring up the Fan Speed indication on in EVGA flow, but it also makes my pump run at 100% constantly, Im assuming thats not a good thing?
Putting it at any other setting and it just disappears unless my CPU temp gets too hot and then it seems to turn on.
No changes made any difference to the CPU temp not showing up.

Setting the fan header to full speed just means full 12W is provided to the AIO. Setting any kind of speed or temp curve will cause the pump/fans to receive inappropriate power, the AIO should be smart enough to manage it's own speed. Can you confirm the fan header is configured for PWM? Doing this should provide the AIO with the data it needs.

Not sure what else to try. Obviously make sure you have latest UEFI BIOS for the motherboard. Your issue may require a ticket with EVGA and possible RMA if they can't figure it out.

I've got the same problem here. A new build with ASUS Prime B350, R7 1800X and a CLC 280 with EVGA Flow Control not showing the CPU temp.

I've had this problem since August of last year. So far I've not seen a single response from EVGA about them fixing this problem. What use is a CPU cooler that can't read CPU temps?

Same for me. Tried other cables and different USB ports. The CLC Server service just crashes every time Flow Control tries to start. Can do anything related to CPU temp or LEDs.

remove software, reboot, then clear the Program Files (X86) files, reboot, reinstall the software

Use Revo uninstaller, I've had a similar issue with my build.  Flow software won't work when LED launches with Precision X.  I have to manually close LED sync part then relaunch Flow software.

This is incorrect. The AIO connector is 3 pin and must be set to DC, not PWM (PWM needs 4 pins). Then give it 100% power from the motherboard. Think of this connector as something that just gives power to the CLC. It should not be used to control or configure the CLC pump and/or fan speed. You do that using the EVGA Flow software that connects to the CLC thru the USB cable.
