After waking my computer from hibernation I would occasionally get: cpuwb not found. This happened infrequently enough for it to not really bother me(1-2 times a month). After the last time I figured I would update flow control to the latest version, 2.0.9, and hope that it would permanently fix the issue. Flow control is now reporting the wrong temperature, around 100C, which makes the software nigh unusable. My bios and hwinfo are both reporting accurate temperatures, it's just flow control that's having the issue. Is there anyway to fix this?

I've been running 2.0.9 since May 2nd and haven't seen that wrong temp problem. I do however have the cpuwb warning if Flow Control is set to start with Windows.

I'm just checking in with the same issue AM4 2700, Gigabyte B450 MoBo, Win10X64 Pro. AIDA64 is showing 32C, EVGA Flow Control is surging between 80-90C for the CPU and 32C for the coolant temp.

Same issue with my 2600X on Asrock Taichi x470. Getting 82C idle temp displayed on cpu while coolant is 32C. Went back to 2.0.8 and it's showing 10C less on CPU than coolant as it did before. This is my first time buying EVGA and it's been pretty frustrating dealing with this type of software support (lack of). Definitely don't recommend for people looking to buy. Edit: Using CLC 280 if it matters Attached screenshot of 2.0.9 readings

Is there a link to the 2.0.8 version? I'd like to try it out, EVGA doesn't seem to be in a hurry to fix the current version.

Did this issue ever get fixed or no. I'm still having this issue but EVGA hasn't responded on this post yet and is wondering if someone has found a solution.

Same issue for me. I have given up on this piece of hardware, it's clear EVGA has no intention of supporting the software for this device. I am running version 2.0.8 because 2.0.9 shows the temperature completely wrong. Version 2.0.8 is only off by 10 degrees on the temperature, so I am stuck with it. Never buying another EVGA product again.

I found this if it helps The flow control software link has all versions of the software, just dont check box for latest update Evga Closed loop cooler F.A.Q If you are experiencing issues with your CLC cooler such as not being able to control LED's or fan speed, there are a few steps to try. First, make sure that the pump cable is secured to either the CPU or AIO fan header on your motherboard. You will also want to make sure that the respective fan header is set to 100% or MAX power. Many motherboards have an "Adaptive" setting as default. If the header is set to anything other than 100% or MAX power then there is a good chance that the CLC cooler will not have enough power to function properly. The majority of CLC issues can be resolved simply by checking the fan header power setting. Second, ensure that the USB cable is secured to the pump and a USB 2.0 header on your motherboard. The CLC used a standard Mini-USB connector, which is a common cable for many devices such as cell phones or portable speakers, so you might also want to test with a different cable if you have one available. Finally, if you are still having issues with the Flow Control software you may need to perform the following: 1) Uninstall Flow Control and any other EVGA software if installed 2) Delete only the "EVGA" folder from "C:\Program Files (x86)" 3) Reboot the system. 4) Ensure that the Visual C++ Runtime Redistributable is installed from the link here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=407845) Reinstall Flow Control You can find the most recent version of "Flow Control" from our download center linked here: https://www.evga.com/support/download/. If you still experience issues, please ensure the cooler is registered at EVGA.com and then contact our support team at 1-888-881-3842 or by e-mailing [link=mailto:support@evga.com?subject=Issues%20with%20my%20CLC%20cooler]support@evga.com[/link]

Never had a previous version, tried everything here and still reading 80-100 C temps on a 34 C CPU die that EVERY cpu temp software piece of crap on the net can read accurately..This was never fixed and makes this utterly worthless as a CPU cooling control. Wont ever buy anything you guys make ever again....You just dont support your product.

Ryzen 2700X on an ASUS Crosshair VII Hero WiFi. BIOS 3004. Windows 10 fully updated. MB drivers updated. EVGA CLC2800mm. Flow Control 2.09 consistently shows CPU temp between 88-109C. Coolant temp 31-33C. If I try to match fans based on temps in Flow Control the fans ramp up so high it sounds like a rocket taking off and never slows down. All my other monitors (ASUS MB, HWMonitor, Ryzen Master) show 30-41C depending on load. Running pump off AIO header on the MB. USB plugged into USB2.0 header on MB. This software is horrible. I am now running both the AIO fans off the MB CPU headers and letting my MB handle things and have removed Flow Control completely. The AIO is a good unit, the software sucks. It is extremely disappointing there has been zero support for this.
