What's the date the 3080ti is supposed to drop?

If you watch the podcasts regularly you gain E-Points just based on duration spent watching, and you can then redeem those E-points for Elite membership. 5,000 E-Points = Elite membership. Easy. Doesn't take all that long, and certainly less annoying to everyone than spamming the forums, plus their podcasts are usually entertaining and informational, with different guests and some celebrity types, and usually some giveaways (keyboards, mice, sometimes GPU cards!).
 
Note: they often go beyond the scheduled times, particularly on Fridays the stream can easily go for 2+ hours. Also stick around at the end of the stream as you get 250 E-points for joining their raid to some other stream when EVGA's stream finishes. Friday nights are the best, but here's their :
 
Tuesday 8am - 9am pacific time (11am - 12pm eastern time) - "Tech Tuesday" - talk show and podcast.
Thursday 1pm - 2pm pacific time (4pm - 5pm eastern time) - "Throwback Thursday Gaming" - this week they're playing Hitman: Codename 47.
Friday 3pm - 4pm pacific time (6pm - 7pm eastern time) - "EVGA Weekly Live!" - anything can happen, and it usually does..
 

Thank you for the info but I don't know what is E Point and I heard from another thread that if I start now, I will not gain enough point for elite membership before the 3080ti rumors launch date

Occasionally you can gamble your E-Points during the stream, I'm almost halfway there already from betting the farm every time

You have too much faith in humanity.... when the last 7 months have shown otherwise.... wish it wasn't so but it's the new reality.

That being said, I'm hoping all those that really need a card get one... me included, of course, I seriously need a new rig and I'm not starting a build till I get a card in hand

I wish I had done the same with the graphics card first. I won the Newegg shuffle back in February for a 5600X so I built a new machine… and now I have a $1400 machine with a 780 Ti in it. 😒

Not sure where I’m at dollar wise, my build is still in the closet waiting on a gpu. I guess I could put it together and take my 1060 out of my other system, but that would seem like putting on a dirty diaper to me, lol. It might come down to that though.

I was coming from a 4790K so even with the 780 Ti, it’s still a ridiculous upgrade and it’s pretty quiet too since the 5600X isn’t a fireball like the 4790K was. The thing is that I ended up buying an Xbox Series X to game on when I got fed up trying to get a video card from Discord servers so I’m right around $2K. That’s a lot of money for a disabled person to spend and I still have to set aside $700 or so for a video card assuming I can snag a 3070 Ti if/when it launches in June.

I am asking the same question since this morning. I know that Nvidia will release it in May; however, I am wondering when it will become available for us to register in the EVGA queue for that card.

Is it really sure, that Nvidia will release it in May? I mean I haven't seen any proof of it. Yes, we know about the MSI crate with the 3080 Ti, but what if they will only launch it in June?

The way things have been 2017-18 were bad years for pc 2019 was good 2020-21 were bad so theoretically 2022 should be a good yeah before if goes to poop again lol

Ugh yeah 2017-2018 was a nightmare due to Ram manufacturers price fixing racket and 2 year old Pascal cards selling for over way over MSRP.   I don't expect anything to be better anytime soon though.

any idea how many people are gonna be in the elite program ?
 

Anyways, even though there is gonna be a lot of people in the queue, it will be the best chance we'll have, against those using bots, to get a GPU.

It will be interesting to see how it plays out.  I wasn't certain on buying a 3000 series until the AMD announcement, so this time I'm not waiting on it.  At least with this release, there's a pretty good idea where the performance will lie.

I don't think you have the time to wait because If you hesitate for a second, you will be waiting months in the queue
