    3090 FTW3 Ultra is what I was originally going to get when the 3000 series was announced, but the 3080 FTW3 Ultra is the more responsible choice and there isn't a huge difference, so I guess a 3080 FTW3.

    3090 FTW3 Ultra is what I was originally going to get when the 3000 series was announced, but the 3080 FTW3 Ultra is the more responsible choice and there isn't a huge difference, so I guess a 3080 FTW3.


    I've been on the fence. It does seem like the more responsible choice would be to take that money saved by going with the 3080 and use it for the 4080, 5080, etc. Going forward.

    If pre/back-orders where allowed, and was thought to be a good idea, it'd be done. It's not something like an idea that just didn't occur to people selling the card. I also don't think it's something that'd change because demand is higher than expected, such decisions were likely made awhile before launch, fully expecting it would be very hard to keep them in stock and that they'd sell out fast.

    Please do a drop for 3080's for members only, Set aside like 1/4 of the stock or something and when it slows down release it all to everyone else

    My janky duct fan has more CFM than your entire case! ;D

    It seems to me that a lot of elite members failed to check out last round, so I think a lot of elite members are still looking for 3090

    The requirements to become an Elite Member are not that difficult to attain. If you didn't even own a single EVGA product, you could create a forum account tonight and easily make 100 proper posts in a few hours if one was so eager to become one. If EVGA announced preorders for EMs, the moderators would have their hands full the night before..

    Its been a week. Supply is going to start coming in more and more and the bots will shift off to more profitable ventures. Scalper prices are already plummeting even if some of the more idiotic ones are still trying to pull 2 k or whatever the actual mark ups are around 1k now.

    I would like to see something like a priority queue. My previous two GPUs were EVGA GTX 780 FTW and GTX 1080 FTW; the latter had that VRM blackscreen 100% fan issue. You know, being in a priority queue to preorder the RTX 3080 FTW would be nice. It would feel like some sort of compensation for the issues I had with the 1080 FTW.

    Not yet elite here, but I'm working on that. I'm looking forward to seeing more supply coming in and hopefully fewer resellers.

    AIBs tried to use different configuration leading to crashes, to my understanding EVGA caught it before it went out.
