Haha, I wondered if anyone would say anything about the grammar.  bcav, it's an awful lot of work to go changing this on every single project. Maybe just use the new consensus going forward and only change old ones when you happen to be managing that project for other reasons, such as prior to a challenge, etc.

The Founder is not in the US and may not be available ATM but is a good guy. After 60 Days they will change the Founder if the current Founder is non responsive. We just need to give this some time is all.

I think this would make a good POTM. Especially since it seems like not many people are involve/know of its existence. It would help shed some light on the subject and what the goal of the project is and introduce us to more projects that what mainstream is doing.

yes i'm on BAM! So far everything in syncing up correctly, except WCG, it doesn't have accurate data yet but you mention it could take a few weeks. But i'm not too worried if it doesn't either. My crunching prior to this was pretty few and far in between as it was literally only when I had my computer on and doing non-gaming task. Prior to this year i've never owned any server rigs that stayed on 24/7. WCG was the only project i contributed to prior to starting my BAM account so if it doesn't match my WCG data perfectly i'm not gonna go crazy about it. Every other project I've only started since starting BAM so they're syncing up just fine.

Sorry for the late entry. I didn't keep up in the thread yet. Busy with a new baby. Anyways, it is unclear why someone would want to take foundership unless things were going unheard. Sometimes people just like the title. I know one of H's former DC'ers privately took pride in the title. He told me in a PM when discussing it. The only way it would cause some problems is if someone changed the profile to something unpleasant or locked the team from adding new members. Or they took enough of the projects to take team founder at BOINCStats causing you to not be able to join challenges. Most teams don't activate the team forum option at projects (which I did when I took team founder at most of the projects back when I unified the team names). Having multiple people with access to the account can help at times but then again people rely on everyone else to check it regularly. This makes it easy to miss. The good news is that you have 60 days to make a decision.

Oh... and I have found that the admins are typically pretty understanding. Some will change it for you even if it was declined by the team founder merely by providing clear evidence/intent. I had a few do it for me. They even said if the Team Founder chimed in, then they would claim it was in error and "fix it". However, at that point former team founders rarely bother. I even had one say they would claim not knowing just so they didn't have to deal with a flame war.
WCG on the other hand will do very little to assist in the matter. So, keep tight reigns on that one.

Some EVGA DC Captains Updates Our BOINC-wide team Process is working well as an FYI (Long on with our Current User Name and Password. Logging on as EVGA DC Captains on Amicable Numbers Website Setup our Team up today and works great. This way we need only go to the BOINC-wide team and make changes in one location for all our Projects. Crunch Of Team.
