I purchased my EVGA CLC240 back in 2018. It was purchased for my X58 LGA1366 system with a Xeon X5675.
Did think much of it, as I packed all the contents of the box away in storage.
 
Anyways, I have recently upgraded my system to AMD 3800X build. As I was preping my build, I went through my CLC box and noticed I have a AM4 ring but no stand offs.
I called the store, who stated I need to contact EVGA.
 
Anyways Contacted EVGA who stated they can't ship me out a new bracket set due to COVID-19. (weird since I brought my CPU, RAM and Motherboard all online and from overseas).
 
Im curious to know if the Corsair CW-8960046 AM4 Bracket retention kit will work with the EVGA CLC coolers as they are both Gen 5 Asetek Coolers?
I can pick up one locally.
 
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah I'm located in Melbourne, Australia.
I purchased my CPU, Motherboard and RAM all via overseas and had them shipped her without issue.
CPU (via DHL)
Motherboard (via UPS)
RAM (via DHL)
all purchase in the last week and arrived on 10th of July 2020.
 
As far as I can tell, EMS is what EVGA is using, but I have had items from China shipped via EMA (eBay) without issues.
