Currently have the EVGA CLC. Love the look of the unit overall but i have some questions.

I would like to not plug in the USB and would like to know the following

Will this be safe to do for my system?
What color is the LED?
How should i run the cables? (Should i put the pump to a header to run 100% and the one fan to the CPU header so it can adjust)

The manual says plug the fan and pump into the headers on the board. But there is a cable already on the unit for the fans?

how many cpu_fan headers do you have, i have two on mine. for the pump you would set it to 100 and adjust via the flow control software. if you want to adjust the fans then connect them to the fan lead off of the pump body. also you would need the usb to control the unit.

I have the EVGA Z1270 Classified K which has 2 CPU headers. Like i stated i don't want to use the usb control for the unit Would i connect the pump to 1 cpu header and the fan to the other cpu header so that each is controlled by cpu temp

you could do it like that, since the pump is powered via the fan header you can set it in the bios to adjust the pump speed, the cpu2 header with a pwm splitter would control the fan via the bios. you wont be able to change the color of the logo. not sure what the default color is
