Hi,
I have a problem with my monitor not displaying in 144 hz at 1920x1080.
Can the problem be because i have 3 monitors and 3 different cables?
My main monitor is the 144 hz one and is connected by a displayport cable, the secondary is connected via DVI and the third is a tv connected via HDMI
Problem occurred when i changed graphics card.
Cheers

i just went through this on my setup... I have 3 27 inch acer 120hz monitors, bought a ti and new cables... I didn't pay attention what cables I purchased and the ones I did do not support 120hz

Don't use HDMI for a 120Hz 1080P monitor - it won't work, not enough bandwidth.

Also, make sure you are using a dual link DVI cable, else it won't be able to support 120Hz or 144Hz at 1080P or 1440P resolutions.

DisplayPort 1.1 and 1.2 will easily support 120Hz and 144Hz at both 1080P and 1440P resolutions.  The GTX980Ti comes with three DP 1.2 ports ready to game!

The easiest solution is for you to use all three DisplayPorts on your GTX980Ti; one to drive each monitor.  Depending upon the monitor and refresh rate, you may need to buy a second and even third GTX980Ti to drive all three monitors when gaming.

You need dvi for 144 hz, or display port.

Which cable do you think is broken or defective?  HDMI or DisplayPort cable?

And what monitors are you using??

You mean Dual-link DVI.  Regular single link DVI will not support 120Hz or 144Hz.
