Hi, recently I encountered a problem on my screen.  I figure this is a sign that my GPU could be dying? I wanted to ask to be sure and have some confirmation from someone.  I plan to upgrade my GPU soon, so that I am not doing anything stupid.

Thank you.

That's weird, because there's a ton of blue wavy lines across the screen.  It has been like this since yesterday.

Sounds like a monitor issue. It could even be a bad display cable/video output port on the gpu.

If we can't see the problem in your screen capture (which we can't), it means that it isn't a rendering problem. It's a problem in the signal somewhere from the signal output of the card to the display on your monitor.

NVIDIA control panel - set to Native resolution & frequency for you monitor ?

Confirm all cable connections on both sides are tight
    Do a monitor reset
