I was hoping to purchase the XC3 with the backplate but I consider myself insanely lucky to have been able to purchase anything at all!
 
However, can I purchase the backplate for the 3080 XC3 separately and add it?

    I know they used to sell them separately for the 900 series

    Bump, I am  looking for the same, I am running over 70 C-80 c  at full load inside my case and 100 % fan speed

    Currently I saw them post that it is not available separately...   They may change later in the year , depending on how many people ask them for it.

    Thanks for the quick answer, Would it cancel the warranty if I add a custom metal backplate ?

    Only if you physically damage the card do you lose warranty coverage.
