Hello,
 
I'm new to the forums and I'm browsing to purchase EVGA 3070 / 3080 XC3. Since these cards has a 2.2-slots design, will it make the 3rd slot (PCIE) unusable? There are some shroud overlap from the 2nd slot based on the design, I'm checking if that will affect the 3rd slot pcie (I got a single pcie devices connected on 3rd and 4th slot). I checked that the FE of these cards are 2 slot designs only but quite not possible to get it anymore unless you buy from scalpers.

    Unfortunately yes, the third slot will be practically unusable.

    Thank you for the information, I appreciate it big time . I guess my remaining options are the hybrid 3080 or the XC 3060TI, unless EVGA will release a Turbo version blower type kind of GPU.

    Yes, that is correct.  Unfortunately there are no plans to release any blower type GPU at this time.
