Are there any hints to when / how this will happen? I don't want to be checking my phone constantly about this for the next few weeks...

    There are no pre-orders at this time. If this information should change then EVGA will announce it.

    Nvidia is showing that the 3090 will be available for order on 09/24, 3080 09/17 and 3070 in October.
     
    3090 FE starting at $1499, 3080 $699 and 3070 $499

    They have a picture of the Kingpin on the EVGA site. I wonder if you still need to be an Ambassador to buy one.

    Sounds like a $1799 3090ti then guessing. Or the evga top dog at least.

    Rumor is Nvidia isn't doing pre orders due to initial low stock. The RTX 3090 will be a paper launch, actual volume will be a month or so later.

    If the 3090 is the new Titan, there won't be a 3090Ti.
     
    My bet is a 3080Ti sitting in between the 3080 and 3090 in terms of specs.
     
    TechPowerUp has them listed in their GPU database and just updated the Shader/TMU/SM counts for them right after Nvidia started the official announcement earlier.
     
    They show a 3080Ti sitting in between the 3080 and 3090.......
     
    With the FE versions going for $1499 - 3090, $699 - 3080 and $499 - 3070 I am guessing a 3080Ti at $1000-$1200

    Oh.. forgot. Nvidia now thinks the FE have special sauce and charge more.

    Nvidia is using a radically different PCB design for the FE and has a ridiculously huge custom air cooler for it that cost $150 a pop to produce......
     
    I seriously doubt any of the AIBs will use it and the new 12 PIN PCIe power connector.
     
    The AIBs will stick to the more standard PCB layout used on the previous generations with standard 6-8 PIN PCIe power connectors.
     
    We are already seeing that from the AIBs with the new pics released today and leaked pics over the last week or so.

    eVGA looks like they have centered on a few cards for release , making for a straight forward purchase . 
     
    Am ready for a preorder option & pay now ..even if delivery is delayed due to the new mfg process . Assume any thing purchased now will not ship until 2021 but waiting for the allocation is better than trying to catch the timing.
