Just got my notify for the 3080ti ftw3 hybrid.  I also previously was notified and bought the air version of the 3080ti ftw3.  Now here is my dilemma.  My air version sits at around 32c idle or just surfing the web and running a few non graphic intensive programs. When gaming on MS Flight Sim or Cyberpunk 2077 and other heavier programs my max temperature is around 76c for the GPU temp and around 86c max for the GPU memory junction.  This is with a mild overclock.  Would I get significantly lower temperatures with the hybrid version and hence a much higher overclock?  In other words, would it be worth getting the hybrid and installing it or should I be content with the air version.  Performance wise I am satisfied with the air version but was a little concerned about the temps.  Any suggestions?  Thanks.

Ancedotal only, but in my gaming group folks have seen lower temps on average with hybrid versus air-cooled (down in the mid to high 50s or low 60s). They only engage in modest overclocking. If you can make the rad work in your rig, I recommend it.

The 2.1 Queues (a category into which these both fall) are not accepting new registrations for the queue. And, as you can tell from the daily summary, the 3783 is months away from when registrations stopped (approximately the end of September 2021). So, I would not expect to see the 3783 model "in stock" anytime soon.  
 
With respect to the 3785, it has been "in stock" from time to time and I consider its' queue to be fully satisfied.  So there is still a chance that the 3785 will be periodically available for purchase (without a queue).

Placing the rad would be another challenge as I already have a rad on the top of my case for my CPU.  Only place left would be to replace the fans in the front with the gpu rad and I worry the rad would not be high enough for the pump.  I guess I have about 15 more hours to decide. Lol.  Thanks again.

Add to that problem that you really (and I mean reaaaally) don't want to run the 3080ti hybrid rad as an intake. Trust me, I tried it. The card ran nice and cool, but my CPU went nuclear and everything in the chassis was way too hot. It is...a lot of heat...and while you're currently bringing fresh air into your chassis and exhausting some of the GPU heat out other exhausts in your case (probably), your CPU rad is still getting some cool air from your front intake fans. Alternatively, you can mount your CPU rad on the front as an intake and your GPU rad as an exhaust (assuming they fit in those places), which is generally better as your GPU produces more heat than your CPU, but you're still making the entire case deal with hotter intake air. I actually went through the painstaking process of making both my CPU and GPU rad exhaust heat, while adding other intakes to the case that aren't normally intakes, so there's fresh air coming into the case. It was the only way to get temps under control, but it did work, and my hybrid 3080ti is running fairly cool now. There's a build-blog in my signature if you want to see pictures of all this, but it is not a decision to take lightly. The thing to remember is that the heat you're dealing with now doesn't go away with a hybrid. It's just moved somewhere else...and you should have a good plan about where that somewhere else is.

Thanks Bobaganoosh. I do not take it lightly.  BTW, I also have the Dark 900 pro.  After viewing your project I may just leave well enough alone.  I don't game that often and while my temps could definitely be cooler, I believe with a max of 86 degrees on the memory junction and 76 degrees on the GPU that I shouldn't have too many issues.  Those temps do seem to be within the specs of the manufacturer.  When I'm not gaming or video converting my temps are max 38 for the GPU, 50 for the memory junction and 46 for the hot spot temperature.  I think I'll just stick to the air cooled 3080ti ftw3 and leave the hybrid for someone else on the cue to purchase.

My two cents...I installed a Hybrid cooler on my 3080...Memory temps increased.  It seems the copper cold plate is not as efficient as it could be to cool the memory.  My humble opinion is that the stock air cooler with stock pads/putty is better for the memory, but not the core.
 
I have seen a copper plate replacement that only uses thermal paste and is purported to keep everything cool...

So here's a cheap tip that may help you. I have the 3080ti ftw3 and I've installed the hybrid kit on it.

Right above the shroud's fan, the pcb itself has a vent hole. This hole I believe helps when the air cooler is on, but NOT when the hybrid kit is on. The air just blows through the card and doesn't circulate. Seal that hole with an electrical tape. You should see a degree or 2 difference.

Also keep in mind, I did change the thermal pads on the vrms only. It's a quick fix. I've also put better thermal paste (grizzly) behind the copper plate where it connects to the aio's plate.

I've tried kritical pads and Thermalright pads and both gave me 2 degrees off-ish. (the kritical pads are better tbh, softer too like the Evga's and are to spec).

Overall when I swapped to the hybrid kit, my vram temps were the same btw. With the tape and the thermal pads I'm in the 2-4C lower range. Still close but I see a slight difference.

The World Cup draw is this morning (in about 5 minutes)...hopefully both the US and Canada Mens' National Teams avoid the dangerous Group of Death. Just one update overnight...a little more progress in the 3663 queue.
