staypuft EVGA has the 3080-10GB and 3070Ti available on the configurator https://www.evga.com/products/diy/ Don't forget to use an associate code for additional discounts
That's annoying. I've been waiting forever for a 3080 and one slips through the DIY thing? What is the point of the friggin' que I am supposedly in?
The DIY configurator requires you to buy more then just the card. If your want to buy one from the DIY, then do it, but you’ll need to add other things to buy it similar to the Newegg shuffles.
Get up to 10% discounts on all your EVGA purchases if you use my associate code at checkout: RYZ7UG4K0FZZ0CU

Not much, unfortunately. It seems EVGA is starting to prioritize the DIY configurator for their inventory of cards, so now customers will be forced to buy in bundles as opposed to just the GPU they need. In the future, I wouldn't be surprised if EVGA got rid of the queues completely, and just replaced it with the DIY configurator. They will still sell out of cards regardless, but while making more in sales with the other products they'd sell in the DIY configurator bundles. If EVGA really wants or needs the extra money from the DIY configurator. A better way of doing this for both EVGA and the customer would be to make a queue for the DIY configurator. I believe EVGA will start to do something like this starting with the E1 system. We shall soon find out.

Every GPU maker, be it AIB or FE, knows the days of selling out practically everything they produce is numbered. They can only milk the target audience for so long once supply is restored..

The other annoying this is I would have to check possibly multiple times a day to see if a card I want is in the DIY thing since there is nothing to notify me that "the card you are looking for is there". I had multiple 3080 sku's in my notify, then I had to kill it down to two. This is not helpful. I seriously doubt I will ever get a notify for a 3080. If I had multiple sku's open I might have had a better chance. Not sure if I want to do a newegg shuffle. I had tried in the past without success. I don't trust Newegg, they are shady, just check all the comments and videos popping up.

@staypuft I noticed that also on the Discord channel. Seems logical to keep some for builds. Not like they are adding a $1000 to it and putting it up on eBay.

The Lunar New Year Lapse of Inventory ("LNYLI") is likely to continue until next week (at the earliest), so I am not expecting much from the queues today and tomorrow. It is almost as if Thor has been ordered to return to Asgard for a holiday. If this barren landscape continues through the end of the week, it would be consistent with how last year's post-Lunar New Year operated. Let's remember this LNYLI next year when folks who registered for the 3897 in June 2021 will still be waiting for their name to be called. (I hope I am kidding....) For the remainder of the week, I would keep an eye out on the NewEgg bundle-shuffle-thingy, the DIY tool, and your preferred retailer (e.g,. Best Buy, Amazon, Microcenter)...as I wouldn't expect much from the NA queues; perhaps they will find a box or two in the back of their warehouses. Congrats to EU for at least some reported drops overnight; I also received word that at least one 3551 dropped to the NA queues this week (it sounds like the anticipated drop turned out to be rather minor (even by our modest standards)...hopefully more next week). Best of luck today! As of 8:40 am PT Thursday, February 10, this is the status of the North American queues (bolded font represents that a queue drop has reportedly occurred since the morning of February 9; italicized parentheticals calculate the length of movement from that SKU's prior report*): Card SKU Most Recent Registration to Receive an Invite to Purchase email Ultra3090 FTW3 Ultra 3987 08/25/2021 09:51:43 3090 XC3 Ultra 3975 10/21/2020 15:25:34 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra 3967 06/06/2021 17:06:06 3080 FTW3 Ultra (12 Gb) 4877 01/11/2022 07:36:19 ( Queue 3.0 Rules) * 3080 FTW3 Ultra 3897-KL 12/18/2020 12:46:03 3080 XC3 Ultra (12 Gb) 4865 01/11/2022 00:00:00 (Queue 3.0 Rules)*3080 XC3 Ultra 3885-KL 09/21/2020 16:30:22 3070 Ti FTW3 Ultra 3797 09/27/2021 00:00:01 3070 Ti XC3 Ultra 3785 06/22/2021 14:25:02 3070 FTW3 Ultra 3767-KL 01/25/2021 13:24:01 3070 XC3 Ultra 3755-KL 12/28/2020 14:12:04 3060 Ti FTW3 Ultra 3667-KL 12/11/2020 13:36:26

Yeah, bummer today. Though since I'm more inclined now to buy HC since I have a liquid setup I'm torn between $3300 scalper on a 3090 HC or waiting and taking my chances with a ti. Kinda prefer a ti as I work in the games space and delve in UnReal as a hobby. Before I was all good since when I rendered in Maya/VRay I had 36 cpu buckets and that made me happy. Feel crazy to be spending $3300 on just a gpu. The 3090ti is rumored to be around 4k though, *sigh @enewt Thanks for the updates though. Much appreciated.

I've been out of the loop for a long time so maybe someone who has been paying attention could help me out. I signed up for the original 1.0 EVGA queue for an XC3 Ultra Gaming 3080 on 10/13/2020 at 10:00 a.m. I also later signed up for a 3060. Six months later I got the email about the 3060, but didn't purchase it because I figured I'd let someone else who needed it get it. However I later got impatient and purchased a 3070 from a scalper on eBay even though I had wanted a 3080. Out of curiosity today I checked to see if they ever sent the notification for the 3080, and they still have not. Did they just stop making this SKU completely? I don't see how a notification could still not have been sent out at this point.

The 3885 queue for North America is reportedly still back on September 21...just a few days after the launch of the 3080s. Given that you still have the queue launch announcements registration congestion of October 5 and October 6 to get through, your 3080 registration is still a long way from reaching the front of that queue.

Yeah this is the biggest bull**** ever. They have to just be focusing on other SKUs and cards. I posted a year ago a standalone thread asking something similar, and EVGA posted a standard "We're filling orders as fast as we can" PR speak. I find it very hard to believe that they're even trying. My guess is they're focusing on higher profit margin cards or something unless there's shortages of specific parts for those cards. I'd be willing to bet that most of the people who signed up have moved on like I somewhat did anyways.

The SKU isn't even listed...that's how long it's been since they've dropped any. I think they just switched to the 3885-KL at some point (no clue what's different between that and the KR version. I know this is all a nightmare for everyone, but it feels kind of scummy to just stop that product and not offer to put your customers in an updated queue for the version you make now (assuming that's what's going on)

Got a notify for a 3080 12gb. Letting it go because by time you pay tax & ship, you're right under $1500. Ridiculous. I got their 3080ti ftw3 ultra for the same price.

Not officially. That said, you could reply to the email you received (it should have come from ordernotify@evga.com) and ask them to rehabilitate it as you missed your window. There is NO GUARANTEE that they will do it...but they might. Best of luck!
