Thor's Day. Meta (i.e., Facebook) and Spotify stocks took dumps last night...Google announced a 1 to 20 stock split. Bungie will become part of Sony, but remain a 100% multiplatform studio. More consolidation in the video game space is on its way. In some respects, this interim period as money gets "more expensive" and the frothy nature of the video game acquisitions hits its nadir, feels like how I imagine the months leading up to the great ET Desert Burial must have felt...invigorating, bewildering and -- ultimately -- melancholic. But that is all still to come. In the interim, there are "invite to purchase" emails to receive...and DIY bundles to contemplate. Time to get after it. P.S. The Steam Deck is a few weeks away from making its appearance. In lieu of a new GPU, who's picking one up as a stop gap measure? Actually, I have yet to see any 1/28 timestamps. Did you record any?
I have a feeling for most EVGA Scores, this queue is still back on 1/27. But, somebody (not me) had a substantial score and received an invite to purchase for a Feb 1 registration date. In other words, if you registered on 1/28, you have not been skipped. For Queue 3.0, the timestamp is almost the least important aspect of the calculation as to when your name will be called....

There have been some questions about the 3080 Ti XC3 Ultra in the DIY Configurator (the 3955 SKU). That SKU was in my daily summary up until September 21, 2021. EVGA then removed the product page from their website and it appeared that the product was no longer in production (so I removed it from the queue). EVGA has recently added the product page back, but it doesn’t even include an “out of stock” notice (see here, bottom of the page); it does not appear to be a product that will be made available to the queues going forward; it is almost as if the 3955 is a DIY Tool exclusive. As of this writing it is available in the DIY tool (with a SuperNOVA 850 P5 and an X20 Mouse, the 3080 Ti XC3 Ultra will run you about $1,574.97 before taxes and shipping). I am not going to even mention the environmental cost of an extra 850 PSU and an EVGA mouse gathering dust in your closet. But it is an option….

New here, and I think I'm getting the hang of this, but would like to confirm: is the status list posted by enewt relying on updates from people who are following and post their notifications? Or is it based on internal evga info?
I'm in the queue for 12G-P5-3967-KR, posted on 9/5/21. I'm hoping to wait another 3+ months for a notify, should I bump that up to 6 months to be more realistic?

It is based on self-reporting on the Internet (this forum, reddit, twitter, various discords I frequent, and a few other sources that I hit from time to time). I am reluctant to give an estimations on a given queue (as there is no guarantee that future drops will be on a similar cadence or volume as previous drops). That said, assuming the 3080 12gb doesn't completely swallow its supply, I think a 4 to 7 month window is not unreasonable. But who knows.... Best of luck!

A quiet Fabrication Friday...not a lot of positivity in this afternoon's summary. Hopefully next week brings some good news to the queues. One of the things I love about video games -- and board games for that matter -- is that they can bring people together, bridge differences and provide a medium in which folks can grow together via collaboration, competition and joy. Play, at least in my world, has real, tangible value...both in how I interact with jr. and in how I experienced love from my (very competitive) parents during their lives. I say all this because I came across an article today that both warmed my heart and brought tears to my eyes. My dad passed away years ago, but in reading this article, I am reminded that parenthood is all encompassing and that I will ever be trying to meet the high, superlative standard my parents set. May you have a parent(s) like this one and may you strive to be one yourself (should nature so shine on you). I'm hoping timestamps matter somehow. I agree that people with higher EVGA scores should get in first from the group that applied on a certain date/period, but, a chance should be given to a kid that is buying his first EVGA card and applied on the same date. In other words, fulfill in the order of EVGA score for a given timestamp, but don't start giving it to people that applied at a later date until you finish that timestamp. Otherwise, you will be starving new customers forever. And it will also make enewt's work useless.

I'm hoping timestamps matter somehow. For Queue 3.0, if your hypothetical kid hasn't purchased a 30 series card from the EVGA queue, then he would be prioritized ahead of those who had (within his own EVGA Score Tier). And, EVGA has stated -- and early reports have shown -- that an allocation of each new drop has been made to each EVGA Score Tier (not just the top tiers). But, the timestamp is just a tiebreaker...it is dramatically and materially deemphasized.

EVGA_JacobF did tweet that the 3551 queue would receive a drop this week. I would think it would be no later than Thor's Day.

I don’t know for certain, but I assume that they will have it. Query whether/if/when they will have drops to the queue for that SKU after it is formally released. If/when it is released, it should be governed by the Queue 3.0 rule set. Thanks for your consideration re the code. Best of luck!
