You should delete this part as NVIDIA will not allow their AIBs to sell/queue for a product prior to the release date and time as set by NVIDIA.

Well then the entire general queue idea won't work.

so i just removed my auto notify for 10G-P5-3895-KR based on the queue summary and notes that the ULTRA models are the ones we should be going for, but now i can't add another GPU SKU to my list. am i doing something wrong here? did i just cut my chances in half?

I believe that they removed the ability to sign up to the queue anymore. They suggest that you keep only 2 cards (because that will soon become the maximum allowed in the queue per person) preferably you keep the ftw3 or ultra ones that you are already queued for because they get a more constant supply of them. I think if you removed a card from your queue it's gone for good.

If there is a better way to pass this on to enewt let me know, but I got a notification on 10/4/2021 12:48 PM PST for queue: 08G-P5-3755-KL 12/8/2020 4:10:54 PM PT Yes Not sure if it was due to queue adjustments or was just my time, but glad to have a 3070 on the way without having to dedicate too much time to actively chasing one. Wish the 3080 I signed up for was an ultra version instead of the 10G-P5-3881-KL, but oh well. Thanks to EVGA and everyone who have worked on, or given input to, systems that give a chance to get a card in a reasonable manner. I kind of wish in general all retailers would work on proactive measures to prevent scalpers/hoarders from taking over any given product releases or situations in the future, but hopefully this isn't a new norm for more and more items more and more often.

Congratulations and thanks for reporting back! You are likely one of the lucky few first time purchasers that for a ~24 hour window was able to jump ahead. Enjoy your new gaming goodness!

No. SKU 3895 queue never moved for 4 months. If you take a look at the enewt post on June 2nd and compare it with today's, you'll find the current timestamp are the same 09/21/2020 09:57:19

Silvia511 Maybe also one? New account requires phone number and sms verification. If the scalper using the same phone number, wouldn't it be easily identified by EVGA? But I guess there are free online SMS services with disposable virtual numbers available? And you're right, first time purchasers may not even know the community tracking thing.
I should clarify. You don’t need a new EVGA account for each queue registration, just an email address. Once your name comes up in the queue, you then need to associate that email address with an (likely new) EVGA account. Spamming email addresses for the auto-notify button is — I am guessing — pretty cheap. Creating an EVGA account once the queue spot comes up…toughest part is probably finding new physical addresses to which to send the product or the payment method….
I am sure I am missing some nuances here, but to only require an email address to get a queue spot…it is primed for bad actor exploitation.
Still need to be logged into the same account that was previously tied to the old purchase, right?

I am pleased to see a revision in the policy as I'm quite close to the elusive 3080 HC. I've pared my notify list down to two and will continue the wait. I think two cards is a good compromise and was glad to hear that there is some level of sleuthing going on related to bad actors.

I honestly don’t think EVGA has figured out how to deal with new SKU introductions under this revised, revised policy. I would expect them to announce a further revision if/when new models release. Perhaps a brief window to swap out registrations (i.e., hold three registrations for about a week before having to reduce down to two).

true, or just make people choose if they hold 2, drop 1 before registering for another.

A lot of people have not purchased a 3000 series card and nvidia plans (if it's true) to release another SKU? Really smart...

well, looking at the gains on the AMD side with xtxh and the 18Gbps vmem chips, Nvidia can't simply sit back and watch as they get smoked in the top benchmarks. AMD core is already clocking way higher than Nvidia as it stands. what a time to be alive...

I think -- given the F5 time pressures of a gpu launch day -- EVGA would have to remove the cap of two registrations before locking it down again a few days later. Otherwise, really tough to meet the competing interests of early registration plus not throwing away one of your existing registrations. mech9t5

I think what KINGPIN_fan and enewt was referring to was that if/when the "super" cards are announced by nvidia, EVGA may have to change the policy at that time to account for the new SKUs and allow customers to choose which card to drop in favor of the new super SKUs and not right now.

correct, if the rumors of a Jan/Feb launch for supers is to be believed (of course take it with however much salt is healthy for you), then it makes sense they'd be working on production now. so any rumors coming out of Taiwan aren't totally far fetched, imo this being said, EVGA has some time to navigate that issue as it won't likely have to worry about queues for a couple of months at least

Yes, still waiting. In other news, the emails went out from EVGA: EVGA Hello, You are receiving this email because your account shows that it has three or more cards in the notify queue. As we continue to monitor the queue to get cards to gamers sooner, we appreciate all the feedback to help us to improve the queue system. Due to the overwhelming demand for the 30 Series Products, our first step was to close the notify queue until we can fulfill them. Management team then took an extra step to prioritize those that have not received a card versus others who have been able to get multiple GPU’s. After reading the feedback, there were legitimate concerns about retroactively changing the queue function. We are sorry for any frustration this caused, this was not the company’s intention. Today we are going to make the following updates:
- The queue system will be rolled back to the previous rule.
- Anyone who missed a card from Monday, October 4th, will be notified on the next release.
- EVGA will continue to send notifies through October 8th.
- In order to get cards to gamers sooner, please go to the notify page here and keep selected your top two cards that you would like to purchase and remove the others.
- On October 11th, 2021 the system will only lookup and send notifies based on your two oldest entries.
- Going forward the queue system will only allow for two 30 series notifies on the current lineup.
- EVGA strongly suggests to keep the FTW3 ULTRA or XC3 ULTRA models due to consistent supply compared to limited supply on K|NGP|N, HYDRO COPPER and HYBRID due to supply constraints.
- EVGA is also going to be adding SMS verification to the checkout process for all notifications to catch bot orders.
- The queue system will not be turned back on until the current queues are fulfilled.
- The checkout window is 20 hours from the time of notification released.
EVGA appreciates your feedback to continue improving the queue system to deliver 30 Series cards into as many gamers hands as possible. Thanks, EVGA
