So i am back to considering the 2080 Ti Hybrid card to replace my 2080 Ti FE card.

After doing research on the hybrid card i understand i will not be able to control the pump speed (unless i mess with voltage in the BIOS, and get a cable to the motherboard). However is it accurate i can control the fan speed through the X1 software?

The main reason for the switch is thermals. Not having any issues with my FE card at all i'm just going for benchmark scores really. My FE card idles at about 32c at idle and if i pull my front cover off my case and the magnetic filter i can drop it another 2c to 30c at idle with fans at 100%. When i overclock the piss out of my FE card it gets up to 75c -77c just depending on how hard i push the memory and boost clock. It does have sumsung modules do i have been able to +1325 - +1350 memory overclock on things like Heaven 4.0.

Back on point, about how much in reduction could i expect to see in temps with a hybrid? I am also going to guess that with reduced thermals the Hybrid card could/should boost higher than my FE card at stock vs. stock and OC vs OC? The boost clock might be minimal but the temps is really what i am after.

You should be able to control the fans on the rad, and the vrm fan on the card itself through px1. Your temps should be around 40-50c. Yes, lower temps will help the card have a more stable/higher boost clock.

Load temps will vary based on your case and airflow, but yes you are usually looking at around 50c for sustained loads. As Sajin mentioned, Px1 will have the two controllable fans, VRM and Radiator.
