Just because there are different BIOS numbers for a specific card does not mean they are a newer\better BIOS. During a production run, some components might change and a different BIOS would be required to support the different components sourced (usually memory but also could be VRM components or power limit or changing fan curves, etc.). This does not mean a different revision BIOS would be compatible with your particular card even though it is for the same model card.
There is one reason and one reason only to flash a different BIOS on your card than the one that came on it and it is to increase the power limit of the card for overclocking\benchmarking purposes.
As far as I know, the only time EVGA has released a new BIOS for a card already in production to end users was for fan curve changes for the card.
