Why would the price of EVGA's 1GTX 1070 FTW Gaming card, go up in price almost $100 in 3-4 months time.
Is it Availability not meeting demand, so we are able to charge a little more?
 
Is it mining, taking away stock from the PC enthusiasts, so increase the price to keep the miners at bay?
 
I hope the next gen cards arrive soon, and that there is some sort of surplus.. or i might have to just stick with console gaming.

Now i know i sold my USED 1070 FTW on CL, for more than i paid, taking advantage of the used market as it stands right now.
I didnt want to sell it, but circumstances and the way the market is right now tipped my hand to sell.
MSRP for a 1070ti is $449, EVGA's price for the 1070 FTW is $549.  EVGA's 1070ti is $549.
 
So did EVGA just up the price on all the top cards by $100?

How can you just make a statement like this without providing a source? I HIGHLY doubt they are halting production of 10 series graphics cards, LOL.

There is no official reports yet, that I know of, but lots of rumors and leaks which appear to be true based on other rumors and leaks and based on the stock status and actions of NVIDIA and its AIB partners. There will be no official announcement until NVIDIA is ready to announce its new product line and lift the NDA.
