Good Evening everyone,
I have been dealing with a Kernel-Power Event 41 critical issue. I will be just chilling on my computer web browsing or playing a game, doesn't matter. My screen will go black my graphics card fan speed will fix max, the temps are fine. I can still talk to people on discord when this happens so I know my computer is working. The graphics card just crashes.
Here is the error below. It doesn't say anything for me but does it help anyone here. ? Plz let me know soon. !!! The Kernel Power error just means that the computer turned off unexpectedly (not properly shut down). Since you are the one who is turning it off, I would say that doesn't necessarily mean that it is a power supply issue and you can ignore the Kernel Power error message. You said that the screen goes black, the graphics card fan ramps up to maximum, and you can still hear sound coming from your speaker/headphones. I would recommend that you perform some debugging. I recommend that you do a thorough video card driver cleaning and re-install. I recommend that you do no use Precision, Afterburner, or any other overclocking/monitoring tool for troubleshooting purposes. I recommend that you reset any of your overclocks to stock settings. And if still the issue doesn't subside, try underclocking your video card to see if the issue goes away; if it does, the video card is likely faulty. Thanks for the reply Ty_ger07 At work I realized I was the one causing the Kernal 41 issue so much time wasted. After talking to the EVGA Techs and I told them that I have bad power here where I live and that my PSU is 7 years old, they thought it was that issue. I replaced it with an EVGA PSU. and I also brought an Ups. We will see if this is the issue. If not I will take your lead and down grade the GPU and I all ready did the debugging and found nothing and I re-installed and also flashed my Bios. I hope that it was hardware related. Thank you for the replay, and if things change in one month I will replay saying everything worked. Joe

Thank you for replying Sajin, I don't know the model but it was a Themeral Take 1200W Gold PSU it was over 7 years old. I replaced it today with an EVGA 850W PSU. Thanks again for the reply. Joe

So Update Time,
I installed PSU and Ups, Everything runs fine for a couple of days, I really don't do any gaming during this time. Classic wow comes out, and I game for 9 hours. Crashed Hour 7. The game was still playing I was still able to talk to my friends on discord, but I had to restart the computer to get the display back on and relaunch wow. What I have done now is... I have Moved my GPU to Expansion slot #2 and I have moved the ram also.
Installing New Driver 436.02
I hope this fixes it !! Cheers !

Good. That means your power issue is fixed. Do you have problems in any other games? No more issues when browsing the web?

No problem. Sounds like the crash is just game related.
