I contacted EVGA EU today to ask about my preorder. Only to be told the following. Can anyone from EVGA confirm this? I must have been one of the first to have preordered in the U.K./EU with site stating the expected shipping date to be on or around 1 May. What gives with this hazy shipment statement? When should we expect them then? Estimated dispatch dates are not available on the EU site or on the preorder so we literally have no information other than the originally publicised 1 May date. Is this now wrong? I bought on the premise that it would be around then. 1. The shipping dates for the EU region are not yet set. They will most likely be different from the dates expressed at the US website but we currently do not have an estimated date.

Agreed, we need some official update.
A lot of folks probably ordered on the premise that EU orders will also begin shipping from the 17th (it was clearly indicated in 'bright' yellow on the pre-order page ... till the stocks ran out).
Surely they didn't change that without letting their customers know.

i guess we wait a whole month longer .. i had the same with the 680 classified and a friend of mine had it with a 980TI / later with the 1080 FTW

I can't speak officially for EVGA EU, but shipments to Europe take much longer than shipments to the USA for obvious reasons.

I don't have any info on that at this time but under normal circumstances EU shipments follow USA shipments after a few weeks.
Can we get an official statement on this? I, as probably a lot of other people, ordered the SC2 on the EU site where it clearly stated pre orders would start shipping today. (17th). If this gets delayed by 'a few weeks' EVGA should let us know.

most of all because they clearly stated that shipment would begin 17th april.. That's of no words... other customs are available from 10 days on stores only EVGA is missing...

This is my first time preordering hardware, but all this looks really weird to me. It ccould also be my first time buying an EVGA product after a long career of loyalism to Asus. 12 days before the estimated shipping and there's not a single review out there, ok. Now they say the date is not yet set for EU when it was perfectly there when we preordered? Most likely different to the ones expressed in the US site. No, they were in the EU site where i preordered it, and by how he says it looks like they are pretty much sure it will be delayed even more for EU. Idk, this is being too weird for me. I really want the FTW3, but all this silence, wait and weirdness is killing me. I'll just wait a week more, if they remain silent i'll just go back to Asus that has never let me down.

I managed to survive on a 780 using a 1080p 120hz monitor until I bought a new 1440p 144hz monitor last month. Now the card struggles two get 60fps in siege six on the settings that I'm used to.
May our framerates be high and our temperatures low. I circumvented the system. I live in the UK, pre-ordered my cards in the U.S. and I'm having them shipped to the UK through my US APO address on the military installation out here. For some reason EVGA wouldn't do it directly even though there's no restriction on sending GPU's to an APO. So I'm having my friend in California send them to my APO. I'll let you boys know how the cards are ;)

OK so you can't special order the cards via AAFES?
I doubt it. I don't even think they have GPU's for sale on the exchange site,and I've never seen stand alone GPU's sold at a base exchange. Plus even if they did, the time frame you would be waiting to receive it? I'll get it much faster the way I did it.
