Actually, the reason I like it better is threefold:
    1. Better airflow/support.
    2. Provision for an optical drive (which I still use).
    3. The Pro M TG doesn't have tempered glass on the right side panel like the Evolv ATX does.

Innards-wise, there is very little (if any) difference between those 2 cases.

As an aside (speaking of the Evolv ATX), I just read that Phanteks may be adding hinges to the tempered glass side panels on the Evolv ATX. Just a rumor at this point, but it would be cool if they do it.

I just read that new Pro M cases come with new 140MP fans (as opposed to the previously included 140SP's).
I have no experience with either model, but some seem to like the noise profile of the new fans a bit better than the previous version.

BTW - At the time of this writing, the Pro M comes with two 140mm fans in the front and one 140mm fan in the rear.

This is one thing I hope all PC case manufacturers will do in the future is to put improved fans into their PC cases.

Im hoping AMD gives us a 16core, or 12core for under $500 at 5Ghz, hope the X299's and X399's give us some serourly sloid motherboard and great numbers, non of this 10 year old rehash weve been seeing from Intel.... As far as hope goes, lets see Microsoft give us a soild Win_10 and cut this pritacy crap already....

I currently have Phanteks 1st ever case the Enthoo Primo which is waaayyy larger than i thought it would be, so I'm looking to downsize to something more portable that can fit on a desk and not so tall i have to place it on ground and not as massive, is the Pro M Tempered a good downsize choice???

I can relate, manufacturers need to take a hint from Phanteks for including good fans AND cable management simplicity in their cases

If you mean better than the Evolv, I think only the last item in your list above is accurate (cheaper).

Here are the specs as far as size and room is concerned:

     Pro M: 9.25 in x 18.9 in x 19.7 in (W x H x D)
     Evolv: 9.25 in x 19.5 in x 20.1 in (W x H x D)

    Not much difference there.

Aesthetically, I think the majority of people would say the Evolv is way ahead of the Pro M as far as looks are concerned.

Cable manage is for all intents and purposes the same in both cases:

My original points were directed to:
    1. Airflow (the Pro M is definitely better than the Evolv ATX)
    2. Optical drive cage (the Pro M has one, the Evolv ATX does not)
    3. Right side tempered glass (The Pro M's right side panel is metal, the Evolv ATX's is tempered glass)

#1 is definitely objective and measureable.
#2 & #3 are subjective with my preferences leaning toward the Pro M's offerings.

I hope that clears things up a bit.

It looks pretty good! I really like phanteks cases though. I just ordered an Evolv ATX tempered the other day. The right side not being tempered would definitely be better to think. That's alright I've just got some extra cable management time in my near future.
