EK just posted the preorder for their 3090 ti FTW3 block.  It appears as though there won't be an acetal version, only plexi.  Doesn't that seem odd?

It is a little odd, but if they are having trouble getting enough acetal to make enough blocks for it to be beneficial, they may just hold off releasing the acetal version until it is feasible.

Also, with the rumors of 4000 series cards possibly coming out in the near future, they may have just made the decision to not invest the time into more manufacturing.

They did that with the 3090 blocks as well.

Wish EVGA would give us some insight if the 3090 Ti KP will have a block.  If not, will probably just pick up a FTW3 and one of these blocks.

Any reason to stick with the active backplate cooling option?  Additional cooling is always helpful, but doesn't sound like there's as huge a benefit.

The active backplates won’t fit on a lot of motherboards, especially some of the z690 ASUS boards. I’m sooo glad the memory chips are all on the same side with the 3090 ti.
