Gifting to my niece who has none, one of my computers left over from closing my office 4 years ago.  Tried to update the mobo drivers.  On reboot after loading all the new drivers the computer hangs. It never fully boots. Errors 44,45 alternate.  Sometimes errors 43 and 46 show up.  These errors are not even listed in the manual.  Is this mobo beyond repair?

No flash drive is required to access the bios.

Ok, good. Can you boot into windows safe mode? If yes, I would recommed using windows system restore to restore the system to a day before you updated the drivers.

It boots to "Launch Startup Repair" or "Start Windows Normally".  In repair it just sits with a blank screen.  In start normally it partially loads the screen that shows as the program is loading.

Sounds like you'll just need to format the drive and reinstall windows clean to get back up and running.

mobo drivers. ? The Bios? What Drivers?
If so did you reset the bios back to how you had the SATA Setup?
AHCI or Raid in the Bios?

No luck re-installing Windows.  Hangs up at the same partially loaded Windows page.  I'm going to try putting the harddrive in another computer and see if it boots.

I went to get the BIOS and drivers info and it has now decided to boot and repair.  I guess sitting in the corner with the threat of dismemberment scared it into submission.  I'll post in the morning if it works.
