i used a dual layer DVD and it worked well, shame that it has gotten so bloated that it wont fit on a regular DVD or there wasn't some way to span it across multiple disc

Yes it work well the last time I did this, the Creator Version is what is to large now I used a 8GB USB Thumb Drive.
Cannot span it across Different DVD... Also a Blue-ray Disk works fine

I still prefer using the WMCT over this method. I set it to download the ISO for both 32 and 64 bit and like above and put it to a USB stick. Using tools like Rufus is quicker than using the WMCT to put it to USB stick.

And with regards to above, the duplicate post I referred to discussed inserting a string of code using Developers mode in the browser. It allowed the user to download all versions of Windows, even ones that aren't available for download anymore.

Does the OP method work for OEM licenses or just retail?

Win10 doesn't care about the difference. Same install disc for OEM or Retail.

I also just use the usb drive method also, way faster that way. One quirk i found though, i have run into problem using a usb 3.0 port while installing windows, not sure why, but if i use a 2.0 port it works everytime with out issue. But even at 2.0 it installs windows over twice as fast as using a disc.

It should be noted that the media creation tool makes the latest Windows 10 stable version Microsoft has released so that would be the Creators Update.

I think it's dangerous if you operate without media , and i agree with you ,USB is also one of the media for Windows IOS ,
I used to tried some tutorial to burn to USB , but it always fails , I admit I'm not a computer expert,I also need to take your advice
