    It's a good idea for a build but it really depends on the size you are going for. For like a mini PC you could do a pretty good job with one but I feel it would be a hard shape to really do a full tower build for since the square length and width would make for a big size case. The light at the top though would be a good power/drive activity light.
     
    You I guess could just do a PC with the look of the front of the Tardis and have it come out pretty cool as long as the case is blue. Also the police box sign would make a very cool power button.
