homestyleCan the vbios get updated through precision x1?
Dabadger84I'm pretty sure one of the primary things needed is for the motherboard & processor to support it, along with drivers. If a BIOS update is necessary, eVGA will likely pump it out through Precision X1. But the primary thing that needs to happen is for NVidia to enable it through drivers, and them working with both AMD & Intel to make it compatible & work with both types of processors on the modern chipsets. It's not going to work on anything older than Z490 on Intel from what I understand currently, and same can be said for it not working on anything older than the previous gen of AMD as well - but that could change.
jankersonActually my Aorus Z390 Master MB just had a Bios Update that supports Resizable BAR.

sparetimepcI had to download a bios update for my 3090 strix oc today that was specifically adding support for the resizable bar to the gpu. Also bios update to my asus motherboard was issued for resizable bar as well.

I don't see it on the official Asus support page for said card. Please advise?
SprayingMangoI get so triggered when I see people say they updated their bios with Precision X1. PX1 does NOT and can NOT update your vBios. It updates FIRMWARE for the LEDs on the cooler...that's all it does. It does not update your vBios and it cannot do this.

I assume you're talking about an earlier post somewhere and not mine, I never mentioned px1 anywhere.
MatthewAMELYes. You need VBIOS, MB BIOS and Driver.
