DP needs to be a "certified cable"   Products Database - DisplayPort

    what happens @ 60Hz, 100Hz, 120 Hz

I'm getting lazy .... what is your 1070 FTW - Rated for @ Max display ?

Is your PSU the issue ?

    GPU Temps ?

Is your CPU & MB at6 stock clocks ?

Every DP port on the card has same result ?

fails @ 60 Hz .... to test more ... under-clock to Nvidia standard MHz, not every game will tolerate a factory OC GPU

Make sure the DP is seated ... I've seen contact with case stop cables from being fully installed

check for firmware update for monitor

check for other users having issue with that monitor

BIOS up to date on MB ?

    Win 10 details ?

    Nvidia driver details ?
