I wish this Rad was bigger. I’m gaming and so much hot air is constantly right by my legs 😣

I like the temps and the fans are definitely less loud but that heat!

It needs a 360 rad AIO, or just going straight water, to the thick air cooler. That tiny 240 AIO is laughable honestly and to make matters worse the RPM's on the pump are sad. =/

Can it be modified (cut and put on to a bigger radiator)?

I don't think so, but I'm sure some brilliant person will find a way to do it. I suppose the only thing you can do is maybe ensure there is more than sufficient cooling air.

Anything can be done, it also needs a better pump and pump block housing to handle the higher RPM pump. You would be better off taking an EK Elite having custom fabricated mounting hardware for it maybe even modifying the plate that goes over the gpu so the AIO plate if it cannot make full contact to the gpu chip it can make full contact if you are dead set on using it for a GPU AIO. It would honestly be better just to water cool it at that point. Anything is possible with the skill set and motivation...

But still OP should consider relocating the pc, add an extra ac vent to the room blowing down on the computer, as well as adding an exhaust duct in the room into the main vent of the ac that is taking in house air. Should help things. I would still want that GPU on a 360 radiator AIO with a stronger/higher RPM pump or just go water. Thats still a lot of heat for a 240 radiator to hold and try to push off from a 3080 TI. At least the 360 radiator will have a little more room to help get the heat transferred out of the water "liquid" with a little more time to cool before having to go back to the gpu for the next round. An AIO is not full fledged water cooling so you need to plan accordingly.

Getting a bigger radiator won't make his exhaust any cooler. It will still have to dissipate the same roughly 400w heat load into the atmosphere. You aren't changing the amount of heat exchanged to the atmosphere with a bigger radiator all you are doing is providing a quicker method to exchange the heat so if anything it will get warmer faster in his room. I have dual 360mm radiators in my build and guess what? The exhaust is still hot because of thermodynamics.

The only way to lower the output temperature is to either provide some form of active cooling (chiller or otherwise) or reroute the heat exchange to another part of the room via longer hose runs and relocating the radiator.

As a final point, a 240mm radiator is more than sufficient to dissipate the heat load of his card as evidenced by his warm leg.
