I keep getting DirectX Error, "GetDeviceRemovedReason"  failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG,  says typically caused by issue with driver or application.  This is happening on Battlefield 4,  not sure about any other games, as BF4 is the only game i play.  Have reinstalled game no change,  wiped and reinstalled windows and thought was fixed, ran fine for about 3 weeks, now doing same thing again. Have played BF4 with this setup for couple years, and had absolutely zero issues, until 3-4 months ago.

I think there are many proposed fixes, but in the most simple terms, your video card is not stable. If you are overclocking it, remove the overclock and the error should go away. Or, if you aren't overclocking it, try underclocking it to confirm that the problem goes away (and that your video card might be degrading).

Uninstall the game completely and reinstall it with the latest game patches and retest. Also try another game to see if the issue occurs there as well.
