I'm very disappointed with my EVGA 850 G2 PSU, the noise is just awful, awful. I spent over £2500 building my system to be quiet, but the noise from the fan is really annoying me. Even with ECO mode turned on; there is little noise difference turning ECO mode on; its as if the noise is not coming from the fan, strange.
It is the nosiest component of my rig, by far. In fact, in all my years of building systems, I have never heard anything as loud as this in terms of Power Supplying. None of the reviews mentioned this! My three year old Antec was way quieter, to the point where you never heard it.
Should I RMA it?
