The motherboard usually has the clip. You will need to remove the retaining screws on the I/O panel, The release the retaining clip on the motherboard to remove the card. Depending on which motherboard you have, the clip rotated downward and toward the motherboard, or it is a push button toward the GPU.

You would need to post which motherboard you have to show you which way is best to remove the GPU.

List your MB & which slot your using

or just look up your MB owners manual online for how the MB release works

    Hello
Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-D3H fm2+ Motherboard, there appears to be a black clip at the top of the GPU, which I assumed was the release, but looking at you tube video, there is a clip at the end of the socket.....

    thanks

At the end of the PCIe slot, there's a retention lever..Push the lever away from the slot after you have removed the screw/s attaching the card to the back of the case..Then carefully wiggle the card out, there is nothing else holding it in there.

Youtube is a good source for information on installing and removing cards since you can see how it's done visually. Just make sure you are looking for a guide and not some system build in which the person isn't taking the time to really walk through the steps. A lot of companies will have videos to show how it's done as well as a lot of user videos.
