I am just curious I know it does not matter, just wondering if there have been any revisions to this card since its initial release in May 2020.  Also did any of these cards get the good Samsung vram, see micron on mine and going what?!?!? My 3070 Ultra had Samsung or at least I think it did when I checked GPUZ.

What's your experience with overclocking it? Know you have had a ton of cards so if anyone knows it would be you. Heard micron is sort of hit or miss can go one way or the other. Thanks again crap, also explains why my 3070 had Samsung no x on the end. Had no idea.

I don’t have a 3080 at this moment but when I did have one it ran easy +1000 memory all day and bench at +1500 memory. That’s pretty much the same with the current 3080 Ti and 3090, both run daily +1000 memory, though the 3090 tops out at +1200 while this FTW3 3080 Ti can bench at +1600.

nice, wondering how these LHR's are like since they got manufactured this year. It was this or nothing and stick with my 3070. Only have an 850w psu atm with a lot of RGB, fans, and other stuff plugged in so a little hesitant to play with it since my pc at stock my i9 10900KF wants to run at a constant 5.3ghz due to the EK Elite AIO, and now my 3080 FTW3 Ultra LHR wants to slam its boost clock up to 2010 on its own... But yeah those are amazing on your current GPU's makes me wonder how my experience is going to go.

You should be ok to overclock a bit on an 850w PSU. As for the card it should be fine. I haven’t seen any personally that can’t hit at least +1000 memory. Though you will have to check performance and see if you actually get any gains since GDDR6X has an error correcting feature that will let you run higher than stable clocks but the error correcting overhead will decrease performance.

That’s the case with my 3090 where I can set and apply +1500 memory and it will apply and be artifact free but anything past +1200 and my performance drops.
